During the visit of Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever to the Libramont Fair on Monday 27 July, Philippe Jacques, coordinator of the Biocontrol 4.0 project portfolio, had the opportunity to present the portfolio and the work carried out by its partners.
He also highlighted that agricultural biosolutions include biocontrol products, biostimulants and biofertilisers. Some already provide concrete alternatives to synthetic chemicals, while others still require further research and development before they can be deployed on a larger scale. The exchange took place at the biosolutions stand hosted by Wagralim in collaboration with IIS Digibiocontrol.
A great opportunity to highlight the innovations developed within Biocontrol 4.0 to support the transition towards more sustainable agriculture.
