Biocontrol in practice: from innovation to application

On 11 June 2026, the Biocontrol 4.0 portfolio, part of the Interreg VI FWVL programme, organised a symposium day at the IUT de Lille. 

From 9 to 12 June 2026, the monitoring committees of the Biocontrol 4.0 portfolio projects,  part of the Interreg VI FWVL programme, were held at the University of Lille, on the Cité Scientifique campus, at Polytech Lille.

On 27 May 2026, a day dedicated to biocontrol took place at Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech

In the context of Trans-Training (Biocontrol 4.0), the BioEcoAgro laboratory presented its work on lipopeptides, bacterial metabolites of interest in biocontrol for more sustainable crop protection methods, to high school students.

The first year of the project made it possible to consolidate a network of partners from academia, the private sector, and agricultural technical organizations within the cross-border area between Hauts-de-France, Wallonia, and Flanders.

Trans-Manage and Trans-Training were present to discover the program's new capitalization strategy

Recap of the COMAC meetings for the six projects of the Biocontrol 4.0 portfolio under the Interreg VI France–Wallonia–Flanders programme 

On October 3rd, the partners of the Trans-Training project gathered at Polytech Lille to officially launch this new European collaboration within the BIOCONTROL 4.0 portfolio.

The Trans-Manage stand get a great success at the international conference Biosolutions 2025
